But the almost-20 year old had been worried - the relief at finally seeing that Riku was alive and well (and almost as tall as him now, it wasn't fair that he missed that) had been washed away by concern the second he had seen the haunted look in his younger brother's eyes. He had tried asking, but Riku had remained closed off.
It hurt, seeing the brother you remembered as cocky and rebellious being so quiet and withdrawn and not knowing how to help.
So, when Riku had told him that he and Sora was leaving again? Terra wasn't having any of it. He'd left notes to the people that he didn't want to worry too much (and one for his parents so they didn't start an island-wide manhunt for him), grabbed a wooden training sword, and snuck onto the ship while Riku had argued briefly with that odd white-haired guy with the lisp.
The same guy had turned out to actually be an anthropomorphic duck once that ship had taken off.
Terra thought he was lucky, that it took so long for him to get caught. It even made sense, that he was caught so close to the top of the tower. The older gentleman and the mouse had even told him what had happened after the 'storm', once he had explained who he was and why he snuck in.
The old man had looked amused, and almost nostalgic about something. The mouse (Mickey, his name is Mickey) had shaken his head but also had been amused. "Gosh, that sounds just like something Riku would do."
He wasn't sure if he should be flattered or not, being compared to his little brother. But he could definitely be proud of him.
Now if only Mr. Tall, Red-haired and Sarcastic would stop looking at him funny...
